Commission Artwork is a ministry whose mission is selling diverse artwork from drawings, sculptures, paintings and key-chains, all of which are unique to the purpose of funding the ministry in making disciples of all people groups, spreading G-d's glory and His message of salvation through the death of His Son, Yehoshua Meshiach on the stake and His resurrection and consummation described in Matthew 28:19-20. While this ministry is not a church in itself, it does seek to expand the kingdom of G-d in line with His word and His will.
The unique artwork was born one night, when the artist was in her freshman year of college, she had a very hard time getting to sleep, so she started praying about the reason. She had the urge to get a piece of paper out and the colored modeling clay she used to sculpt 3D sculptures with and "paint" the clay on the piece of paper. She started drawing the picture and started to paint it with the clay. At first there were complaints risen and that the idea was insane and would not go very far, but she proceeded anyway detailing the painting with nothing but a safety pin and it was then that she was able to go to sleep. The first piece that was completed was the four horses of the apocalypse (which the artist regrets not having a picture of), finished in October 2009, that was given as a gift to one of her close friends at the college.
Since then, a collection of about 18 and counting, clay paintings on canvas have been inspired by different aspects of her life. Every piece of artwork has been hand-created by Caraesa Michelle Steppe (artist name Rocco) and has a string of continuality that connects them to each other in purpose but has a strong sense of individuality by themselves having its own story behind each one. All pieces are done by the same artist with different techniques by hand and are exclusively signed and dated by the artist herself.
The artist and ministry believe that all scripture is breathed by G-d ( 2 Timothy 3:16) and every word is infallible and to be taken seriously (Hebrews 4:12) and applied to every aspect of life and situation and is to be carefully interpreted guided by the whole context (Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32) and the Ruach Hakodesh ( 2 Peter 1:20-21).
G-d was, is and always will be. He is ONE (Deuteronomy 6:
Yehoshua Meshiach is the only Son of G-d (Mark 1:1), conceived by the Ruach Hakodesh and born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-20), was without sin and became the propitiation of our sins by His death on the stake. ( 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 4:10), was buried and was resurrected in three days ( 1 Corinthians 15:4), ascended to Heaven and positioned at the right hand of G-d (Mark 16:19), and intercedes on our behalf (Hebrews 7:25).
The Holy Spirit is from G-d the Father (John 15:26) and is our Helper.
Humans were hand-created in the image of G-d by G-d Himself (Genesis 2:7). By Adam's disobedience to G-d, Sin came into the world. All humans are born into sin and are sinners (Romans 3:23). Yehoshua/Living Torah is the only way to redemption to G-d (John 14:6). By His death on the stake, He made a way of reuniting sinners with G-d meant for all and shed royal blood providing salvation from sin (John 1:29) and everlasting life. We have salvation by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:5), not works/Torah (Ephesians 2:9; 2 Timothy 1:9) but you cannot have faith without works/Torah (Titus 1:16; James 2:14-26), by believing with our heart and confessing with our mouth that Yehoshua Meshiach is Lord and savior (Romans 10:8-10), and returning to Torah/commandments of G-d.
Water baptism is a mikvah by full immersion and to be followed by the example of Meshiach for every believer ( Matthew 28:19). It is an outward expression of inward faith that the believer has changed from old to new and has died to self and to sin and has been raised like Meshiach being reborn in the spirit and becoming a new creation living in the way of Meshiach and Torah(Romans 6:4) It is not a way of salvation.
The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is promised by Yehoshua Meshiach to every believer after believing (Acts 2:38-39). Evidence of the Ruach Hakodesh is a love for others, a boldness to witness the testimony of Yehoshua Meshiach (Acts 1:8) and a deep desire for obedience to G-d's Word. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. (Galatians 5: 22-23), not tongues ( 1 Corinthians 14:6) nor healing which are not a requirement of the Ruach Hakodesh for every believer ( 1 Corinthians 12:30) and are only mere gifts and not an entitlement ( 1 Corinthians 13:1;8).
Communion/ or the blessing of the bread and wine is a remembrance (Matthew 26:26-28) of what G-d has done for us through Meshiach by the example of Yehoshua's last supper, and an example of unity and fellowship with other believers ( 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26).
Sanctification begins at believing the Torah through Yehoshua and continues until the return of Meshiach and comes from G-d ( 2 Corinthians 3:18). It is a progression of holiness which is worked out with fear and trembling by the believer both by responsibility and grace. (Philippians 3:12-14; 1 Corinthians 1:30-31).
Yehoshua Meshiach Himself is coming back to collect all believers, be visible to all (Revelation 1:7) and there will be a new Heaven and new earth (Revelation 21:1) which Meshiach will rule. (James 5:8)
The dead will be resurrected, shall stand before the throne of G-d and be judged ( Hebrews 6:2; 2 Corinthians 5:10). Those who believe and obey will have everlasting life and those who reject G-d will go to Sheol (Revelation 20:11-15).
G-d's favor is not based on physical wellbeing or financial wellbeing, but rather by the grace G-d gives us to become righteous and free of sin through Meshiach and the Ruach Hakodesh and by giving us the means to complete the tasks given by Him so that He may be glorified.
I hope that each piece of artwork, reflects a ray of G-d and that in doing so, fulfill the purpose that G-d and the artist has for it.
